Privacy policy
This page explains what data Tactirium collects, why, how long we keep it, and how you can see it or have it erased. We collect as little as possible.

Who we are
Tactirium is a game published by Kroxo, a sole proprietorship under Swiss law: [business postal address to be completed]. Kroxo is the controller of your data.

Data we collect
In the game: your username, a hashed device fingerprint (used to find your guest account without asking for a login), your email if you choose to link it, and your match results and ranking.
In-fight chat is not stored: messages are not saved on the server.
On the website: your email if you sign up for the beta or write to us, and the content of your message. The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it
To run the game: your account, your progress, matchmaking and rankings.
To send you the beta invite and test news, only if you asked for it.
To answer your messages and handle deletion requests.
Legal basis: performance of the service you use for the game, and your consent for beta emails.
How long we keep it
Account data: as long as your account exists. A guest account inactive for 24 months is deleted.
Beta email: until you unsubscribe, or the beta ends.
Support messages: 12 months after the last reply.
Where it is hosted
Game server: netcup GmbH, in Karlsruhe, Germany, in the European Union.
Accounts and leaderboard database: Convex, Inc. (United States), data hosted in the AWS eu-west-1 region, in Ireland.
Website and forms: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States).
Email delivery (sign-in codes, beta invites): Resend, Inc. (United States), through Amazon Web Services in Ireland.
App distribution: Google (Google Play) and Apple (App Store, TestFlight), who also process your data under their own policies.
Transfers outside Switzerland and the European Union rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Your data is never sold or rented.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the GDPR, you can access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to its use, restrict its processing and get it back in a readable format.
Write to contact@tactirium.com. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority of your country.
Deleting your account
In the game: Settings, My account, then Delete my account. No longer have the game? Use the “Delete my account” page on this site.
Underage players
The game never asks for your age, name or address. If you are under 16, ask a parent before linking an email or signing up for the beta.
